Details
The 2N3394 is a small-signal NPN bipolar junction transistor (BJT) commonly used in various electronic circuits and applications requiring amplification of signals. It is designed for general-purpose amplification and switching purposes with a maximum collector current of 500mA and a maximum power dissipation of 600mW.With a low noise figure and excellent high-frequency response, the 2N3394 operates over a wide range of frequencies making it suitable for audio amplification, oscillator circuits, and high-frequency applications. It has a typical current gain (hFE) of 150 to 300 at a collector current of 10mA, allowing for high gain amplification with low input current requirements.The transistor is housed in a TO-92 package with three leads – collector, emitter, and base – making it easy to integrate into circuit designs. It has a maximum collector-emitter voltage (VCEO) of 25V and a maximum emitter-base voltage (VEBO) of 5V, providing a robust voltage tolerance.
