The A4989SLDT is a microstepping motor driver with integrated current sensing for full to half-step applications. It is designed for bipolar stepper motors and can deliver up to 1.75A of continuous current per phase. This driver utilizes a patented current regulation method to achieve microstepping performance while also reducing motor noise and vibration.The A4989SLDT features adjustable current control through a fixed off-time PWM current control scheme. It offers a wide range of step resolutions, from full-step to 1/16-step, allowing for precise control and smooth motion. The driver also includes overcurrent and thermal protection, ensuring the safety of the system and preventing damage to the driver or motor.The A4989SLDT operates from a supply voltage range of 8V to 35V, making it suitable for a variety of applications. It is housed in a compact, thermally enhanced QFN package, providing good thermal performance and allowing for easy integration into existing systems.
