The AD7948BNZ is a high-performance, 14-bit analog-to-digital converter (ADC) manufactured by Analog Devices Inc. It features a fast conversion rate of up to 1 megasample per second (MSPS) and operates on a single 5V supply. The ADC incorporates advanced design techniques to achieve excellent linearity and low noise performance, making it suitable for a wide range of precision measurement and control applications.The AD7948BNZ has a flexible input configuration with a differential input voltage range of ±5V, allowing for direct connection to a variety of sensors and signal sources. It also includes an integrated sample-and-hold circuitry to minimize external component requirements and simplify system design. The ADC is housed in a 28-lead DIP package, providing ease of integration into existing circuit designs.Key features of the AD7948BNZ include an integral non-linearity (INL) specification of ±2 LSB(max), a signal-to-noise ratio (SNR) of 76dB typ, and a total harmonic distortion (THD) of -90dB typ.
