The ADE7761 is an energy metering IC (integrated circuit) designed to accurately measure active, reactive, and apparent energy consumption in single-phase electrical systems. It features two delta-sigma ADCs (analog-to-digital converters) for voltage and current channels, providing high accuracy measurement with minimal error.The ADE7761 includes built-in energy accumulation registers, eliminating the need for external memory for data storage. It also offers features such as voltage sag detection, overcurrent detection, and phase loss detection for added functionality and protection in the metering system.It has a flexible serial interface for communication with host processors, allowing for easy integration into metering systems and data retrieval. The IC is designed to operate over a wide voltage range and temperature range, making it suitable for a variety of energy metering applications.
