The integrated, isolated DC-to-DC converter simplifies system design and reduces overall cost by providing power for both the bus side and the logic side of the device, eliminating the need for an external power supply. Its low-power design ensures minimal power consumption during operation, making it an excellent choice for battery-powered applications. Operating from a single 5 V supply voltage and withstanding a wide temperature range of -40°C to +85°C, the ADM2483BRW is built to deliver consistent performance in challenging environments. Additionally, the transceiver features short-circuit and thermal shutdown protection, ensuring safe operating conditions even in the event of a fault, and fail-safe circuitry to maintain the bus in a known state if communication is lost
