Details
The ADS1263 is a highly precise, low-noise, and low-drift delta-sigma (ΔΣ) ADC capable of 38.4-kSPS. It integrates an auxiliary 24-bit ΔΣ ADC for background measurements, making it suitable for demanding sensor applications like weigh scales, strain-gauge sensors, thermocouples, and RTDs.
Featuring a low-noise CMOS PGA (with gains from 1 to 32), a ΔΣ modulator, and a programmable digital filter, this ADC offers a flexible analog front-end (AFE) with two sensor-excitation current sources for direct RTD measurement.
Its single-cycle settling digital filter maximizes conversion throughput while delivering impressive 130-dB rejection of 50-Hz and 60-Hz line cycle interference. The device operates reliably within the –40°C to +125°C temperature range and comes in a 28-pin TSSOP package.
