The AM26LS31CNSR is a versatile quadruple complementary-output line driver that is designed to meet the requirements of ANSI TIA/EIA-422-B and ITU Recommendation V.11. Its high-current capability makes it suitable for driving balanced transmission lines, such as twisted-pair or parallel-wire lines, while its 3-state outputs ensure a high-impedance state in the power-off condition, contributing to its efficient operation. Additionally, the device offers a common enable function for all four drivers, providing the flexibility of choosing between active-high or active-low enable inputs to suit a wide range of applications. Moreover, the integration of low-power Schottky circuitry helps to minimize power consumption without sacrificing speed, making it an ideal choice for energy-efficient designs
