Details
The ATSAM2193 is a compact audio amplifier IC manufactured by Microchip Technology. It is a dual bridge-tied load (BTL) audio amplifier that delivers up to 5 Watts of continuous average power per channel into a 4 ohm load. The device operates on a voltage supply range of 2.5V to 5.5V, making it ideal for use in portable and battery-powered audio applications.The ATSAM2193 features a digital audio interface that supports I2S and TDM protocols, allowing for seamless integration with various digital audio sources. It also includes a built-in fixed-gain digital volume control to adjust audio levels without the need for external components.The audio amplifier IC offers a low standby current consumption of less than 1µA, ensuring efficient power management for battery-operated devices. It also includes thermal and short-circuit protection features to prevent overheating and damage to the IC and connected devices.
