Tailored for low power, self-monitored, highly accurate radar systems in the automotive industry, the AWR6843AOP offers various automotive qualified variants, including Functional Safety-Compliant devices (ASIL-B). With a DSP subsystem featuring TI’s high-performance C674x DSP for radar signal processing, a BIST processor subsystem for radio configuration, control, and calibration, and a user programmable Arm Cortex-R4F for automotive interfacing, the device provides a comprehensive solution. The Hardware Accelerator block (HWA) is capable of executing radar processing and offloading the DSP, enabling the execution of higher level algorithms and dynamic reconfiguration for a multitude of sensor applications. Additionally, the AWR6843AOP is offered as a complete platform solution, inclusive of reference hardware design, software drivers, sample configurations, API guide, and user documentation
