Details
The BAS40-5 is a surface mount Schottky barrier diode with a maximum repetitive peak reverse voltage of 40V and a maximum forward voltage drop of 0.38V at a forward current of 1A. It has a maximum continuous forward current of 200mA and a maximum peak forward surge current of 2A.The diode has a small surface mount SOT-23 package that allows for easy installation on printed circuit boards. It is designed for general purpose switching applications and is commonly used in high-frequency rectification, sampling circuits, and low-power switching applications.The BAS40-5 has a fast switching speed of 4ns, making it suitable for applications requiring fast response times. It has a low reverse leakage current of 0.5μA at 25°C, ensuring efficient operation and low power consumption.
