The BC857BDW is a general-purpose PNP bipolar junction transistor (BJT) in a SOT-363 surface-mount package. It is designed for use in amplifier and switching applications where low noise, high voltage, and high current gain are required. This transistor has a maximum collector current rating of 100mA and a maximum collector-emitter voltage rating of 45V.The BC857BDW has a total power dissipation rating of 225mW at 25°C ambient temperature. It features a low collector-emitter saturation voltage of 0.45V at a collector current of 10mA, which makes it suitable for low voltage applications. The device has a DC current gain (hFE) of 100 to 600 at a collector current of 2mA and a low noise figure of 0.8dB at 1kHz.The BC857BDW is characterized by its high transition frequency (fT) of 100MHz, which allows for high-speed switching operations.
