Details
The BQ24050DSQT is part of the BQ2405x series, which is specifically designed for space-limited portable applications. It has a high-input voltage range with input overvoltage protection that supports low-cost unregulated adapters, and can operate from either a USB port or AC adapter. The charger features a single power output for charging the battery, and allows for a system load to be placed in parallel with the battery as long as it does not impede the charging process during the 10-hour safety timer. The battery is charged in three phases - conditioning, constant current, and constant voltage - with built-in temperature monitoring and current reduction if necessary. The charger also includes high accuracy current and voltage regulation, charge status display, and programmable precharge and termination current thresholds
