Details
CD4026B and CD4033B are both built with a 5-stage Johnson decade counter, and they also come with an output decoder. This decoder effectively converts Johnson code to a 7-segment decoded output, making it a great fit for driving stages in a numerical display. Both devices are particularly beneficial for display applications where there is a need for low power dissipation and/or a low package count. The inputs common to both include CLOCK, RESET, & CLOCK INHIBIT, along with common outputs like CARRY OUT and the seven decoded outputs (a, b, c, d, e, f, g). Additionally, The CD4026B has additional inputs and outputs, including a DISPLAY ENABLE input and DISPLAY ENABLE and UNGATED "C-SEGMENT" outputs. On the other hand, The CD4033B comes with more signals such as RIPPLE-BLANKING INPUT AND LAMP TEST INPUT and a RIPPLE-BLANKING OUTPUT
