The DRV421RTJR is a game-changer in magnetic closed-loop current sensing, offering an integrated fluxgate sensor and analog signal conditioning for precise dc and ac current measurements. Its innovative design minimizes component count and cost, making it an ideal solution for current sensing applications. The low offset and drift of the fluxgate sensor, combined with an optimized front-end circuit, ensures unrivaled measurement precision. The DRV421 provides all the necessary circuit blocks for driving the current-sensing feedback loop, including a configurable filter and an integrated 250-mA H-Bridge for driving the compensation coil. This unique feature doubles the current measurement range compared to conventional methods, providing enhanced flexibility and performance. Additionally, the DRV421 features a precision voltage reference and shunt sense amplifier for generating and driving the analog output signal, further enhancing its utility in current sensing applications.
