Details
With the DS1236S-10, microcontroller systems can benefit from its efficient power-on reset and watchdog timer functions. Operating within a voltage range of 4.75V to 5.5V, this IC boasts a remarkably low power consumption of just 1uA, rendering it highly suitable for low-power applications. Its fixed reset timeout period of 10ms ensures the correct initialization of the microcontroller upon power-up, while the included watchdog timer function serves as a safeguard, monitoring the microcontroller's operation and initiating a reset if needed. Moreover, the IC's 8-pin SOIC package allows for easy integration into compact designs, and its minimal external component requirements simplify the overall design process. As a result, the DS1236S-10 is particularly well-suited for applications that demand dependable power-on reset and watchdog timer functions to guarantee the reliable operation of microcontrollers
