The DS320PR 822's proprietary CTLE receiver technology employs continuous time linear equalization, a programmable high-frequency boost that can even open eyes closed due to inter-symbol interference (ISI). The subsequent linear output driver preserves the original signal characteristics, ensuring transparent link training and optimal transmit-receive equalization settings. With its exceptional cross-talk isolation, low additive jitter, and excellent return loss, this device almost becomes a passive element in the link, but with its valuable equalization capabilities.

Furthermore, the DS320PR 822 features an internally regulated power rail that provides robust immunity to supply noise on the board, as well as low AC and DC gain variation, ensuring consistent performance in high-volume platform deployments.
