The EPM240GT100I5N is a low-cost, low-power CPLD (Complex Programmable Logic Device) from Intel (formerly Altera) that offers 240 macrocells in a small 100-pin TQFP package. This device is part of the MAX II family of CPLDs and is designed for high-speed, low-power applications in areas such as consumer electronics, industrial automation, and communications.The EPM240GT100I5N features 240 logic elements, 384 registers, and 8 global clock networks. It operates at a maximum clock frequency of 208 MHz and offers a total of 62 I/O pins. The device supports various I/O standards, including LVTTL, LVCMOS, and PCI.In addition to its programmable logic elements, the EPM240GT100I5N also includes on-chip memory (up to 4 Kbits) and PLL (Phase-Locked Loop) support for clock management and synchronization.
