By combining these two essential functions, the product minimizes the need for external components, making it a cost-effective choice for various applications. The PFC controller in the FL7921R utilizes a controlled on-time technique to deliver a stable DC output voltage and facilitate natural power factor correction. Moreover, an innovative THD optimizer helps reduce input current distortion during zero-crossing duration, resulting in improved THD performance. Notably, the PFC function remains active irrespective of the PWM stage load condition, ensuring high power factor even under light load conditions. On the PWM side, the FL7921R provides multiple functions to enhance power system performance, including valley detection, green-mode operation, and high/low line over-power compensation. The product also features an array of protection functions, such as secondary-side open-loop protection, over-current protection with auto-recovery, adjustable over-temperature protection, and various others to safeguard the device in different scenarios
