III. Featuring a high-speed design, the HCPL-7860-500E optocoupler is equipped with an integrated photodetector, a Schmitt trigger, and a transistor output. This makes it well-suited for applications such as feedback control in high-speed switching power supplies, digital control of high-speed power transistors, and the isolation of power transistors in motor drives. The optocoupler boasts a maximum propagation delay time of 10ns, ensuring reliable performance in high-speed applications. With a common-mode transient immunity of 20kV/μs, it can operate dependably in noisy environments. Its wide operating temperature range of -40°C to 100°C allows for versatility in industrial applications. Additionally, the HCPL-7860-500E is housed in an 8-pin DIP package for easy integration and offers a minimum isolation voltage of 5000Vrms, providing a high level of electrical isolation between input and output circuits
