The HCPL7800A is an optocoupler device that consists of an infrared LED and a high-gain photodetector in a single compact package. It is designed to provide high-speed and high Common Mode Rejection (CMR) performance for applications requiring galvanic isolation between input and output circuits.The HCPL7800A features a maximum propagation delay of 100 ns, making it suitable for high-speed data transmission and digital communication systems. It also has a minimum CMR of 10 kV/µs, ensuring reliable isolation in noisy environments.This optocoupler has a wide operating temperature range of -40°C to +100°C, allowing it to be used in a variety of industrial and automotive applications. It is housed in a small 8-pin DIP package, making it easy to integrate into existing circuit designs.
