Designed for the extreme conditions of space, the HI-3593PQI is a versatile and robust multiprotocol transceiver that caters to the communication needs of satellite and space missions. Specifically engineered for low Earth orbit and geostationary Earth orbit applications, this transceiver offers exceptional reliability and performance in environments exposed to high levels of radiation. Boasting four independent channels with flexible operating modes, the HI-3593PQI supports various data rates and protocols, including MIL-STD-1553B, SpaceWire, UART, and CAN bus interfaces. Its radiation-tolerant design can withstand total doses of up to 100 krad(Si) and offers immunity to single event latch-up effects up to 60 MeV-cm²/mg, ensuring uninterrupted operation in the presence of radiation-induced challenges. Furthermore, with a low power consumption of 400mW per channel, the HI-3593PQI is an energy-efficient choice for power-restricted satellite applications. Operating over a wide temperature range of -55°C to +125°C and packaged in a space-saving 48-pin ceramic quad flat package, this transceiver is the ideal solution for high-reliability space missions
