Details
The ICE1HS01G-1 is a highly integrated resonant mode controller for Half-Bridge topology. It is specifically designed for electronic ballasts with PFC applications, but can also be used in other applications such as power supplies. This controller operates in Critical Conduction Mode (CrM) with resonant switching frequency up to 200 kHz. The ICE1HS01G-1 features a high voltage start-up current source, a PLL with synchronized frequency and phase shift control, and an Active Burst Mode operation for burst mode control of the switch-on time. It also has a proprietary Multi-Mode Modulation (MMM) control with a capacitor discharged at the end of each cycle and a digital burst mode operation for accurate Over Current Protection (OCP). Furthermore, the ICE1HS01G-1 offers a wide VCC voltage range of 10 to 20 V, a low power standby mode, an adjustable operating frequency, and an internal PWM modulation for optimized efficiency. The device also includes protection features such as overvoltage protection, overcurrent protection, and thermal shutdown.
