The ILC555N is a CMOS low power single timer IC that is pin-to-pin compatible with the industry-standard 555 timer. It operates over a voltage range of 2V to 18V and has lower power consumption compared to the traditional 555 timer. The ILC555N features a wide temperature range of -40°C to 125°C, making it suitable for a variety of applications.This timer IC has two operating modes: monostable and astable. In the monostable mode, the output pulse duration is determined by an external resistor and capacitor, whereas in the astable mode, the IC operates as a free-running oscillator. The ILC555N also includes a reset pin that can be used to reset the timing cycle.The ILC555N is widely used in applications such as timers, pulse generators, LED flashers, and tone generators.
