Details
The ISL29003 is an integrated digital light sensor designed for advanced portable applications such as smartphones, tablets, and other handheld devices. It features a wide dynamic range from 0.1 lux to 100,000 lux, allowing it to accurately measure ambient light levels in various lighting conditions. The sensor has a low power consumption of 56μA in active mode and 0.5μA in power-down mode, making it ideal for battery-powered devices. The ISL29003 also includes a built-in infrared rejection filter, which helps improve accuracy by eliminating interference from invisible infrared light sources. This filter allows the sensor to provide reliable readings in both indoor and outdoor environments. The sensor communicates with the host system using I2C interface, which enables easy integration into existing designs. It operates on a supply voltage range of 2.25V to 3.63V, making it compatible with a wide range of power sources.
