The ISL29023IROZ is a highly sensitive digital light sensor designed for a wide range of applications including display backlighting control, keyboard illumination control, and ambient light sensing. It features a spectral response that closely matches the human eye, making it ideal for adjusting display brightness based on ambient light conditions.This sensor operates on a supply voltage ranging from 2.25V to 3.63V and has a low power consumption of just 56µA in active mode and 0.5µA in standby mode. It has an I2C interface for communication with a microcontroller or other devices, allowing for easy integration into various systems.The ISL29023IROZ has a dynamic range of 0.045 lux to 188,000 lux, providing accurate and reliable light intensity measurements in both low and bright light conditions. It has a resolution of 16 bits, providing precise data output for better control of lighting systems.Additionally, this sensor has a built-in temperature sensor for compensation, ensuring accurate light readings even in fluctuating temperature environments. It also features automatic gain control to adjust sensitivity based on ambient light levels, enhancing performance in various lighting conditions.
