It is designed for use as a telecom interface IC, providing efficient and reliable Ethernet connectivity in various networking applications. The KSZ8382Q features eight ports with integrated 10/100Mbps PHYs, allowing for seamless connection between devices. It also supports Industry-leading energy-efficient protocols such as IEEE 802.3az Energy Efficient Ethernet (EEE) and Wake on LAN (WoL), making it an environmentally friendly and cost-effective solution for network communication. With advanced features like Quality of Service (QoS) and VLAN support, the KSZ8382Q ensures optimal network performance by prioritizing critical data traffic and segregating network segments for improved security. Additionally, it supports Jumbo Frames up to 9KB, allowing for the efficient transfer of large data packets while reducing network overhead.
