With its high voltage capability and constant on-time regulation principle, this controller offers a simplified circuit design and ultra-fast load transient response. It can operate over a wide input range of 4.5V to 42V, making it suitable for various power supply applications. The PFET architecture allows for 100% duty cycle operation, resulting in a low dropout voltage. Additionally, the controller can detect over-current conditions using either the PFET's RDS(ON) or an external sense resistor
