The LM5122MH/NOPB is a sophisticated synchronous boost controller designed for high-efficiency applications. Using peak-current-mode control, this controller offers advanced features like cycle-by-cycle current limiting and easy loop compensation. With a programmable switching frequency of up to 1 MHz, it allows for flexibility in optimizing efficiency. The inclusion of two robust N-channel MOSFET gate drivers with adaptive dead-time control further enhances performance, while the user-selectable diode-emulation mode ensures improved efficiency at light load conditions. Additionally, an internal charge pump enables 100% duty cycle for high-side synchronous switches, and a 180° phase shifted clock output simplifies multi-phase interleaved configurations. Safety features like thermal shutdown, frequency synchronization, hiccup-mode current limit, and adjustable line undervoltage lockout provide added protection and flexibility for various operating conditions
