The LP2985LV is a low-dropout voltage regulator designed for use in applications where low quiescent current, low dropout voltage, and excellent transient response are required. It offers an output voltage range of 1.2V to 16V and a maximum dropout voltage of 340mV at 150mA, making it suitable for a wide range of applications.This regulator features a very low quiescent current of only 75μA, making it ideal for battery-powered devices and other low-power applications. It has a built-in overcurrent and thermal protection, ensuring the safe operation of the device even under fault conditions. The LP2985LV also has excellent line and load regulation, providing a stable output voltage even when the input voltage or load current changes.In addition, this regulator has a small package size and requires minimal external components, making it easy to use in space-constrained applications. It is available in fixed output voltages ranging from 1.2V to 5V or adjustable output voltage options, giving designers flexibility in choosing the right voltage for their particular application.
