The MAX1470 is a low-power, 315MHz/434MHz ASK transmitter designed for use in remote keyless entry (RKE) and tire pressure monitoring systems (TPMS) applications. It features a fully integrated frequency synthesizer, power amplifier, crystal oscillator, and modulator, making it a compact and cost-effective solution for wireless communication systems.The device operates from a wide supply voltage range of 2.1V to 3.6V, allowing it to be powered by a single coin-cell battery or other low-voltage sources. It consumes only 5.7mA of current in transmit mode, further extending battery life in portable applications.The MAX1470 offers a programmable output power level up to +10dBm, allowing designers to optimize the range and power consumption of their system. It also includes a low-power shutdown mode to reduce power consumption when not in use.The device is controlled via a simple three-wire SPI interface, making it easy to configure and integrate into a microcontroller-based system. It also features a transmit data rate of up to 100kbps, providing fast and reliable communication over short distances.
