Details
The MC12040 is a high-speed ECL/TTL compatible 10-bit analog-to-digital converter (ADC) manufactured by ON Semiconductor. It features a 10-bit digital output resolution with a maximum sampling rate of 300Msps, making it suitable for high-speed applications such as data acquisition, imaging, and communication systems.The MC12040 operates from a single +5V power supply and consumes 1.2 Watts of power at the maximum sampling rate. It has a differential input configuration with a full-scale input range of ±1V and can accept both single-ended and differential input signals. The ADC employs a 6GHz sampling fCLK frequency for high-speed conversion and utilizes an internal track-and-hold circuit to maintain accuracy.The MC12040 incorporates a configurable digital output interface with options for parallel, byte-wide, or nibble-wide data outputs to accommodate different system requirements. It also includes an adjustable input range feature, allowing users to optimize performance based on their specific application needs.
