The MC33179D is a top-of-the-line monolithic op-amp, part of the MC33178/9 series. It utilizes Bipolar technology and incorporates innovative high performance concepts, making it ideal for quality audio and data signal processing applications. With high frequency PNP input transistors, this device family produces amplifiers with low input offset voltage, noise, and distortion. Despite its impressive performance, the MC33179D consumes only 420µA of drain current per amplifier and delivers high output current drive capability. The NPN output stage eliminates deadband crossover distortion and offers a large output voltage swing, excellent phase and gain margins, and low open-loop high frequency output impedance.
