Details
MXD1818 is a potent and selective small-molecule inhibitor of a protein called PAK4, which is involved in various cellular processes such as cell proliferation, survival, and migration. It binds to the ATP-binding site of PAK4 and inhibits its kinase activity, thereby disrupting signaling pathways that promote cancer growth and metastasis.Studies have shown that MXD1818 effectively inhibits the proliferation of cancer cells in various cancer types, including colon, breast, and pancreatic cancer. It also exhibits anti-metastatic effects by blocking the migration and invasion of cancer cells. MXD1818 has shown promising results in preclinical studies and is being evaluated in clinical trials as a potential targeted therapy for cancer.
