Details
The NTE158 is a silicon NPN transistor designed for general-purpose amplifier and switching applications. It is commonly used in audio amplifiers, small signal amplification, and as a driver for medium power transistors. The transistor has a maximum collector current of 1A, a collector-base voltage of 60V, and a power dissipation of 1W. The NTE158 has a DC current gain (hfe) of 100-300 at a collector current of 10mA and a collector-emitter saturation voltage of 0.3V at a collector current of 100mA.The transistor is housed in a TO-92 package, which makes it easy to mount on a circuit board. It is suitable for small-signal and low-power applications due to its low power dissipation and relatively low current ratings.The NTE158 is a reliable and cost-effective transistor that can be used in a variety of electronic circuits.
