Details
PAM8620 is a class-D audio amplifier integrated circuit designed for delivering high-quality audio amplification in portable devices such as smartphones, tablets, and other consumer electronics. The PAM8620 features a single-ended stereo full-bridge amplifier architecture with a high efficiency of up to 90% and a low idle power consumption of 20mW, making it suitable for battery-powered applications.This amplifier IC can deliver a maximum output power of 15W per channel into a 4-ohm load with a supply voltage range of 4.5V to 15V, making it versatile and suitable for a wide range of applications. It also features a built-in thermal shutdown protection circuit to prevent damage from overheating, ensuring reliable and safe operation.The PAM8620 includes comprehensive protection features such as overcurrent protection, overvoltage protection, and automatic short-circuit protection, further enhancing the reliability and longevity of the amplifier circuit. Additionally, it includes a DC volume control function that allows for easy adjustment of the audio output level.
