Details
PCF8575CTS is an 16-bit I2C-bus I/O expander. The device features an 8-bit quasi-bidirectional I/O port (P07-P00), including latched outputs with high-current drive capability for directly interfacing with LEDs. The PCF8575CTS also provides an 8-bit input port (P17-P10) that can be used to monitor and/or read external signals. The I/O port can be programmed to switch between input and output without the need for additional components.The PCF8575CTS operates at a voltage range of 2.3V to 5.5V and can communicate with a microcontroller via the I2C-bus, allowing for easy integration into existing systems. The device features internal power-on reset circuitry to ensure proper initialization upon power-up and is designed to minimize power consumption, making it suitable for battery-powered applications.Additionally, the PCF8575CTS offers low standby current consumption and is designed to operate in a wide temperature range from -40°C to +85°C, making it suitable for industrial and automotive applications.
