Details
PMSTA92 is a small-signal PNP bipolar junction transistor (BJT) commonly used in low to medium power amplification and switching applications. It belongs to the PMST series of NPN and PNP transistors manufactured by NXP Semiconductors. PMSTA92 has a maximum collector current (Ic) of 500mA and a maximum collector power dissipation (Ptot) of 625mW. It has a low saturation voltage and high current gain, making it suitable for amplification in audio circuits, voltage regulation, and signal processing applications. The transistor is housed in a SOT-89 package, which provides good thermal performance and easy PCB mounting. It has three terminals: collector, base, and emitter, and is operated with a maximum voltage of 150V. PMSTA92 has a transition frequency (ft) of 150MHz, which determines the frequency response and bandwidth of the transistor in amplification applications. It also has a low noise figure, making it suitable for low-noise amplification in sensitive circuits.
