Details
RN2304 is a high-performance, low-power, monolithic synchronous buck regulator that operates with an input voltage range of 2.5V to 5.5V and delivers up to 2A of continuous output current. It incorporates a synchronous rectifier for high efficiency and uses a constant frequency, peak current mode control architecture to provide stable and reliable operation.The regulator features a wide adjustable output voltage range from 0.6V to VIN with a high accuracy of ±1.5%. It also includes an internal soft-start function to reduce inrush current during startup, as well as overcurrent protection, thermal shutdown, and undervoltage lockout for robust system protection.RN2304 offers a high switching frequency of 2.2MHz, which allows for the use of small external components and helps to minimize output voltage ripple. The built-in power MOSFETs have a low RDS(ON) to improve efficiency and reduce power dissipation, making it suitable for a wide range of battery-powered applications.
