Details
Texas Instruments' SN7448N is a highly versatile BCD to 7-segment decoder/driver IC that offers a reliable solution for converting BCD input data into a 7-segment display output. Its four binary input pins and open-collector outputs provide flexibility and ease of use, allowing for seamless interfacing with a wide range of display types. Additionally, the active-low Ripple Blanking input improves the overall display readability by blanking leading and/or trailing zeros, enhancing the user experience. With a maximum propagation delay of 55ns, the IC can drive common cathode displays with refresh rates of up to 18 kHz, ensuring fast and responsive performance. Its wide operating voltage range of 4.75V to 5.25V and 16-pin DIP package further enhance its suitability for a variety of applications requiring BCD to 7-segment decoding
