Details
TA2111F is a monolithic integrated FM/AM radio receiver IC that operates at a supply voltage range of 1.8V to 7V. It features an FM front end, mixer, IF amplifier, FM detector, AM detector, and a built-in reference oscillator. The IC supports FM IF counter, level meter, AFC, AM IF, output amplifier, and mute circuit functions, making it suitable for various radio receiver applications.The FM front end of TA2111F utilizes a built-in AV band-pass filter and RF AGC circuit for optimal signal reception and noise reduction. The mixer section enables signal conversion from RF to IF frequencies, while the IF amplifier amplifies the intermediate frequency signals to improve signal strength. The FM and AM detectors demodulate the FM and AM signals respectively, providing audio output to the built-in output amplifier.Furthermore, TA2111F incorporates a frequency-locked loop (FLL) for FM signal frequency control, ensuring stable and accurate frequency reception. The built-in AFC circuit helps in fine-tuning the receiver frequency to minimize drifts caused by temperature changes or signal variations. Additionally, the mute circuit mutes the audio output during weak signal reception to reduce noise interference.
