TA8191F is a single-chip power amplifier IC designed for car audio applications. It is manufactured by Toshiba and operates on a supply voltage range of 8V to 18V. The TA8191F is capable of delivering an output power of up to 22W per channel into a 4-ohm load at a total harmonic distortion of 0.08%.This IC features built-in short circuit protection, thermal shutdown protection, and overvoltage protection to ensure the safety and reliability of the amplifier circuit. It also has a mute function that can be controlled externally to silence the output signal when needed.The TA8191F is housed in a 15-pin SIP (Single in-line package) and is designed for easy installation on PCBs. It has a compact footprint and low power consumption, making it an ideal choice for small car audio systems where space and efficiency are critical.
