Details
The TDA1180P is a low-noise stereo preamplifier integrated circuit (IC) designed for use in audio applications. It is specifically designed for use in radio, line, and tape recorder applications. The IC features two independent preamplifiers, each with two inputs and a gain control for adjusting the signal level.The TDA1180P operates on a single 4.5V to 18V power supply, making it suitable for use in a wide range of electronic devices. It has a low noise figure of 8dB and a total harmonic distortion of less than 0.1%, ensuring high-quality audio output.The preamplifier IC also features a high input impedance of 10k ohms, allowing it to easily interface with a variety of audio sources. It has a maximum input voltage of 20mVrms and an output voltage swing of +/- 8V, providing ample headroom for audio signals.In addition, the TDA1180P includes built-in short-circuit protection and thermal shut down to protect the IC from damage. It is housed in a 16-pin dual in-line package (DIP) for easy integration into electronic circuits.
