Details
Catering to the demands of video/graphics applications, the THS8135 is a triple high-speed D/A converter that operates from 3.3-V analog and 1.8-V digital supplies, ensuring high performance at a sampling rate of up to 240 MSPS. It features three 10-bit D/A converters and additional circuitry for bi-level/tri-level sync and blanking level generation, making it a versatile solution for video and graphics applications. One of its key features is the ability to provide a dc offset for the lowest video amplitude output in video DAC mode, enabling the insertion of bi-level or tri-level sync on specific color channels or all channels for video applications. Additionally, the THS8135 is a footprint-compatible functional upgrade to the THS8133, offering a higher update rate for oversampled video digitizing and reducing the complexity of the analog reconstruction filter required behind the DAC. With support for various PC graphics formats up to UXGA resolution and digital TV formats including HDTV, the THS8135 is a reliable and flexible solution for demanding video and graphics applications
