The TISP2290 is a highly integrated surge protection device (SPD) designed to protect sensitive electronics from overvoltage events such as lightning strikes and power surges. It is specifically designed for use in telecommunications and data line applications, providing reliable protection for equipment such as modems, routers, and communication devices.This device features a low capacitance design to ensure minimal impact on signal quality and transmission speed. It has a maximum operating voltage of 6V and a very fast response time of less than 1 nanosecond, providing instantaneous protection when a surge occurs. The TISP2290 also has a high surge current capability of 100A, ensuring it can handle substantial transient events without damage.In addition, the TISP2290 is designed to be easy to install, with a compact surface-mount package that can be easily integrated into existing circuit designs. It also meets industry standards for surge protection, including IEC 61000-4-5 and Telcordia GR-1089-CORE.
