Details
The TLP2404 is a quad-channel photocoupler manufactured by Toshiba. It features four independent isolated channels in a single compact package, making it ideal for applications that require multiple isolated signal transmission paths. Each channel consists of a GaAlAs infrared LED optically coupled to a photo-transistor, providing high isolation voltage (5000 Vrms) and high common mode rejection (CMR) of 10 kV/μs.The TLP2404 operates using a low input current (IF=5mA) and a wide range of input voltages (3V to 20V), making it compatible with a variety of digital and analog signal input sources. It has a high-speed switching time of 3μs for turn-on and 10μs for turn-off, which allows for efficient signal transmission with minimal delay.This photocoupler is commonly used in industrial automation, power supply control, motor drives, and other applications that require signal isolation to prevent interference and ensure system reliability.
