Details
The TPS310x and TPS311x families of supervisory circuits are tailored for circuit initialization and timing supervision, specifically for DSP and processor-based systems. Upon power-on, the RESET is activated low once the supply voltage (V_DD) exceeds 0.4 V. Subsequently, the supervisory circuit continually monitors V_DD and maintains the RESET output low as long as V_DD remains below the threshold voltage (V_IT–). To ensure a proper system reset, an internal timer delays the transition of the RESET signal from low to high after V_DD surpasses the threshold voltage. Upon V_DD dropping below V_IT–, the output transitions low once again
