Details
The TPS63061DSC is a high-efficiency buck-boost converter integrated circuit manufactured by Texas Instruments. It is designed for powering applications that require a regulated output voltage over a wide input voltage range. The TPS63061DSC can operate with input voltages as low as 2.5V and as high as 12V, making it suitable for a variety of battery-powered and automotive applications.This converter is capable of delivering up to 3A of continuous output current with a typical efficiency of 96% in buck mode and 95% in boost mode. It features a fixed-frequency PWM control scheme that helps minimize output voltage ripple and improve noise performance. The integrated synchronous buck-boost architecture allows for seamless transitions between buck and boost modes, ensuring a smooth and stable output voltage.The TPS63061DSC also includes built-in overcurrent, overtemperature, and short-circuit protection features to safeguard the device and connected components from damage. The device is available in a small 12-pin VQFN package, making it easy to integrate into space-constrained applications.
