Details
The TPS76733QD is designed to deliver a fast transient response and stable operation when used with 10 µF low ESR capacitors. This design ensures high performance at a cost-effective price point, making it suitable for a wide range of applications. The device features a PMOS pass element that acts as a low-value resistor, resulting in a very low dropout voltage. In fact, the dropout voltage is typically less than 230 mV at an output current of 1 A for the TPS76750, and it is directly proportional to the output current. Moreover, the voltage-driven nature of the PMOS pass element results in a very low quiescent current, which remains independent of the output loading. This characteristic leads to a significant improvement in the operating life of battery-powered systems
