Details
The TSL1401R is a linear array sensor produced by AMS-TAOS USA Inc. It features 128 pixels arranged in a single row, each capable of capturing light intensity values ranging from 0 to 65,535. This sensor utilizes a charge-integration technique for capturing the light intensity, where the charge accumulates in each pixel proportional to the amount of light incident on it.The TSL1401R operates at a supply voltage of 5V and has a low power consumption of 120µA. It communicates with external devices through a serial interface, allowing for easy integration into various systems. Additionally, the sensor has a high-speed data output rate of up to 4 MHz, enabling quick readouts of the light intensity values.This sensor is commonly used in applications such as color scanners, spectrometers, and barcode readers due to its high sensitivity and ability to capture precise light intensity measurements. The TSL1401R is also compact in size, measuring only 4.4mm x 43.18mm, making it suitable for use in space-constrained environments.
