Details
TSM103AI is a highly integrated, low voltage, and low power current sensor IC (integrated circuit) designed for energy metering applications. It is a 1% accurate, bidirectional current sensor that can measure AC or DC currents with a range of ±30A. The TSM103AI operates from a single 3V to 5.5V power supply and consumes very low power, making it suitable for battery-powered applications.This current sensor IC features an analog front end with a low offset and gain error, ensuring accurate current measurement over a wide temperature range. It has a built-in 12-bit ADC (analog-to-digital converter) that digitizes the current sensing signal, allowing for easy interfacing with microcontrollers or digital signal processors.The TSM103AI offers a fast response time of less than 2μs, making it suitable for real-time current monitoring and control applications. The IC also includes built-in protection features such as overcurrent detection and thermal shutdown to ensure safe operation in high-current applications.
